Posted 6th August 2026
These easy homemade pizza pockets are packed with melty cheese and savoury salami, all wrapped in a soft, high-protein dough. Served with Beautiful Energy, they're a satisfying lunch or snack that's ready in no time.
Ingredients
- 200 g self-raising flour
- 200 g plain high-protein yoghurt
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 60 g tomato passata
- 80 g grated light cheese or mozzarella
- 60 g mild salami or pepperoni slices
- 1 serve Beautiful Energy Powder (flavour of your choice), per serve
Method
- In a large bowl, combine the self-raising flour, high-protein yoghurt, Italian herbs, garlic powder and salt.
- Knead until a smooth dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little extra flour as needed.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
- Flatten each dough ball into a small round. Spoon the tomato passata into the centre, then top with the cheese and salami or pepperoni.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges firmly to seal. Gently flatten each pocket into a thick disc.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Place the pizza pockets in the pan, cover with a lid and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, dissolve 1 serve of Beautiful Energy Powder per person in a glass of water and stir until fully dissolved.
- Serve the warm pizza pockets with your Beautiful Energy drink.
