Position: Logistics Coordinator
Job Type: Full-time

Own the freight lanes that keep our shakes, sachets and shipments moving across the globe and to our customers' doors. If you love turning freight data into dollar-quantified decisions and thrive owning a lane end-to-end, this is your next role.

About The Role

As our Logistics Coordinator, you'll take full ownership of The Collagen Co.'s inbound and outbound freight, from international raw material imports and finished goods exports through to domestic transport between our manufacturing and fulfilment sites.

This isn't a support role. You'll be the person driving reliable, cost-effective movement of goods every day, while also owning the analytics that tell us where the next dollar of savings is hiding.

You'll bring existing logistics coordination and cost/performance analysis experience and apply it from day one. This is a hands-on, high ownership role for someone who wants to make an immediate impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own execution of inbound freight (Raw Materials & Packaging) and outbound export freight (Finished Goods) across our international lanes.
  • Coordinate domestic transport between our manufacturing and fulfilment sites, including third-party manufacturer movements.
  • Monitor freight movements to spot risks and delays early, acting with urgency to resolve or escalate before they impact production or fulfilment.
  • Ensure accurate shipment documentation, customs clearance and regulatory compliance across international movements.
  • Own cost-per-unit (CPU) reporting across all active freight lanes and maintain dashboards tracking freight spend and quote-to-invoice variance.
  • Analyse budget vs actuals and logistics data to identify trends, cost drivers and cost-effective improvements, translating findings into clear, dollar-quantified recommendations.
  • Track and report on freight and 3PL provider performance, including transit times, on-time delivery and cost accuracy, supporting periodic performance reviews.
  • Investigate logistics issues, identify root causes and contribute to continuous improvement of logistics SOPs.

About You

  • 5+ years managing multi-lane, multi-mode logistics across international imports, exports and domestic transport, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing or health & wellness.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in cost-per-unit and cost/performance reporting.
  • Experience managing freight forwarder and carrier relationships.
  • Familiarity with international shipping, customs, tariffs/HS codes and cross-border compliance (currently across the US and NZ).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) and logistics tracking/reporting tools.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, low-support environment within a defined decision authority.
  • Working rights in Australia.
  • Current Australian driver's licence highly regarded.
